The team at Cortland Vera is very responsive to any concerns/questions I've had regarding my unit and the complex amenities. They know our family and are always kind and attentitive.

Cortland Vera has a BEAUTIFUL POOL <3 It's one of our favorite pass times - to grill & chill pool side. They offer other amenities, such as a Cinema, Club House w/computer lab and conference room, and 2 other outside amenity spots in the first 2 buildings, in addition to a 2 floor gym. They also have a manual car wash in the back. The Management Team is great at throwing parties/events for family and/or adults. They make the holidays a fun past time, and we look forward to their events. The 2 past events we had were Build your own Terrarium for Earth Day, and Cinco De Mayo - fun for the whole family 🙂 Milica and Tiana have been very helpful whenever I've needed questions answered, and/or to coordinate with my schedule for Unit Repairs/Maintenance. This is our first apartment down in Florida, as we moved from NWI and we couldn't be happier with our selection.

i gave a 4 ONLY BC OF AT&T INTERNET!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY APARTMENT, THE COMPLEX, EVERYONE WHO WORKS HERE(although i have not met everyone)! THE ELEVATOR IS ALWAYS CLEAN AND SMELLS AMAZING!! SUPER CONVENIENT TO HAVE A TRASH CHUTE ON THE 3RD FLOOR(some residents put other garbage in the area of which they should NOT do that, we have rules and those who do that, take away from our complex looking nice) THE GROUNDS ARE WELL KEPT AND I MAY HAVE MINOR DETAIL ISSUES IN MY APT, ITS NOT A BIG DEAL BC MY PLACE IS SUPER NICE BUT THE INTERNET SERVICE HAS ME SUPER UPSET BC I WORK FROM HOME. THE INTERNET WENT OUT AROUND 12PM TODAY AND I RECEIVED A TEXT AROUND 8PM IT WAS FIXED BUT ITS 1AM THE NEXT DAY AND STILL NO INTERNET!!! IF I CANNOT HAVE ANOTHER INTERNET PROVIDER, THE RENT SHOULD BE DECREASED BY $65 BC THAT IS WHAT I AM PAYING FOR INTERNET FROM AT&T THAT IS NOT RELIABLE AND I HAVE ONLY BEEN HERE 19 DAYS, INTERNET HAS BEEN OUT 3 TIMES!! AT&T IS HORRIBLE WITH MOBILE SERVICE AS WELL AS HOME INTERNET!! FIX IT CORTLAND AND BRING SPECTRUM OUT HERE!!! I BEEN USING MY HOTSPOT ANYWAY JUST TO WATCH TV!! ALMOST EVERYTHING IN MY PLACE REQUIRES INTERNET!! IM SO WORRIED ABOUT WORK TOMORROW BC IF I DONT WORK, I CANNOT PAY MY BILLS!!! NOT HAPPY RIGHT NOW ALTHOUGH MY PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cortland Vera Sanford to spend time with my family, and I was truly impressed by the experience. During my visit, I attended a community event organized by the staff, and it was absolutely amazing!

The staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to create a warm atmosphere. It was great to see so many residents enjoying themselves; everyone looked genuinely happy and engaged.

I highly recommend Cortland Vera Sanford for anyone looking for a vibrant and friendly place to call home.

We lived at Courtland in the townhome units because we liked the idea of having a garage and more private space. Unfortunately our time here ended up being quite the nightmare.

Our unit was FULL of silverfish bugs. We would see them coming out of the ac vents and out of the shower drains. We had the place fumigated and would put silverfish traps constantly but couldn’t get rid of them. There were drain gnats in the sink constantly. Mind you, we never left dishes over night and cleaned constantly. Despite our efforts, the entire building probably has awful infestation problems in general. That was our main concern.

Aside from that there was constantly dog poop everywhere all over the sidewalks. They also complained that my mother visited with her dog that is less than ten pounds and didn’t even stay for half a day. Apparently they wanted to fine me and have me pay monthly for her dog to visit. I found this absurd. Management didn’t even try to talk to us regarding this, they just left a notice at the door while I was home without knocking or anything. I found that extremely rude that they couldn’t even have a conversation with me before leaving me a notice.

Our neighbors upstairs would have parties all throughout the night with loud music and screaming and we reported it several times and they wouldn’t do anything.

If you tour there, keep in mind that the model apartments are absolutely nothing like the units they give you. They do very minimal fixing of units before you move in and you have to nag to get management to care. Hope anyone reading this has a better experience than we did:(

Jose Ortiz is an excellent maintenance worker for the community. He fixes any issues we’re having in a timely manner and always notifies us before and after. He is very friendly and personable and happy to see around the community throughout the weeks. We are grateful to have him around and for the assistance he provides us.

Shamell McLean helped us out today and we enjoyed every bit of our tour. We haven’t had very good experiences so this experience was definitely refreshing! She was very educated and thorough. I love how well she broke down the prices. She was such a joy and this is definitely number 1 for us!

We toured the community on Saturday 10/26. It was a great experience. We showed up at 12:30 and the on-site manager was kind enough to show us around even though she was working alone and busy. The community is wonderful and we are definitely going to apply.

I’m super content with Maintenance Team Member Jose Ortiz and his exceptional service! Our dryer wasn’t working and he came and brought us a working dryer the following day. His professionalism and friendly attitude made the entire experience so much easier. Thank you Jose for everything you do for us!
