I visited this DMV location to renew my driver's license. FYI, you need an appointment to go in there. You no longer can go ad hoc, wait in line and get it done. Getting an appointment was not that hard. I was able to get an appointment on the same day. I honestly think the staff at this location is doing a good job. They are very well experienced. Some of them are slow while some of them are quick. All in all it was a pleasant experience for me every time I visited.

Despite what everyone assumes of the DMV, (think of the sloths from Zootopia) this location is extremely fast! The staff is kind, and if you made your appointment like you were required to, then there shouldn’t be any issue. I live all the way in Arvada but chose to come here due to their reputation. Thank you!

Okay so the place has moved from the east side of 25 to the west side. Still around 120th.
A sign at the entrance is kind of confusing as it says "This office doesn't issue Driver licenses. One may think it's the wrong office but within the same building they have 2 separate offices: one handling the vehicle registrations and the other the driver license.
It all becomes clearer once you enter the building with 2 signs pointing which one is which. Also they have people inside directing you where you need to go to handle your business.
At the DL office, when you enter there is a clerk asking you a string of questions pertaining to what business you need taken cared off and then proceed to give you a number and often time also makes you take the eye test. Then you wait in line for an opened window. They will verify your infos, then if all checks out, take your payment then ask you to take a seat till you're called to have your picture taken if need be. Then they print your temp ID.

Made an appt for my daughter. She needed a Colorado State ID. Made the appt. 2 weeks ago. Received the confirmation of the appt. Instead of snapping the picture on my phone (my ink was getting low). The site would freeze up, and I had full internet. Anyway,
I went down there today, and you guessed it, Appt, nowhere to be found.

Employees were awesome. Wait time was minimal. I was there for plates and drivers license. I was in and out of both offices within 35 minutes. This was on a Monday at 2:15 pm.

For a person that has bad knees i had to stand in line over an hour. Even had a appointment time. I'm not sure why you have appointments. I really don't think it matters, you have to stand in line. It is terrible.

Not Military Friendly wont allow walk in for active duty no exceptions when asked if they could get supervisor since desk clerk doesn't have the authority to accept that request they flat out told me no then called next person like I wasn't there anymore and ignored me after that courteous and nice is not what I would say about this location.

It's been a while since I renewed tags in person, but I have to say, I'd do it again. The person that greeted me and gave me my stand-n-line number was friendly as was the guard, there were 7 windows open instead of 2 as it was years ago, and in 7 minutes the clerk processed my paperwork and I was on my way out the door.
