I came to this store today to buy a hamster, and the employees were amazing.

I’m pregnant and have been not feeling well, and having some issues with my blood pressure. I ended up collapsing and nearly passing out at the register while checking out. Very embarrassing lol but the employees were so nice and concerned, and everyone was helpful. And I really appreciate that.

As for the hamster, we got home safe and he’s adorable and has such a big personality and has been exploring his new home 🙂

The staff was nice but they didn't have enough people there. I needed a specialty item so It took a little bit to get help. At the check out , I did not ask for a grocery bag so I don't know if they still charge 10 cents for each bag.

They have a great selection for dog chews and treats but they are expensive. I was there for Fish that day and they had exactly what I was looking for. All the tanks are clean and the fish are well taken care of. So I go back. Take your own bag just in case

There was a worker that was very helpful. She spent a lot of time helping me with solutions and suggestions on my son's fish and tank. Very knowledgeable, friendly and kind.

Petco has always been a clean and friendly place to shop. I was greeted with a smile and received excellent customer service, and helped load my vehicle ! They have kittens for adoption here, fish, and other animals. They also have pet grooming services inside the facility.

So disappointed! They should hire an experienced stylist! I went to this location for a dog grooming and I cried because my pup looks terrible with his hairstyle. Don’t go to this location if you dont want your pup to be ugly! Management should check into this and should require them to take pictures of their work everytime they groom to assess.

This store has to be the most awful pet store I’ve been to. Even PetSmart takes better care of their animals. Immediately upon walking in, there’s stains all along the carpet. There is definitely not enough adequate space for the hamsters as they are overcrowded. The worst of it all: the aquatics section. Don’t you guys have someone to take care of your animals? What kind of lazy management lets their animals live like this? (Attached pictures below). Excessive algae growth which indicates a lack of care and maintenance within the tanks which could easily be fixed if given time and attention. Oh and where they keep the supplies? Absolutely disgusting as well. Dead fish sitting in cloudy water on a counter? If they can’t keep their own stations clean, why should they be allowed to keep live animals? At the end of the day, it all falls on poor management. The only reason I gave a star at all is because of grooming, Melissa is absolutely wonderful and so was Christina who rung me up.

This store used to be nice. But almost all the fish tanks were cloudy and algae all over and dead fish in most tasks. What happened? This is awful. Poor animals.

Don't let Amber Fuller anywhere near your dog or trust Vetco. Petco will not take any accountability for the actions of practitioners like her in their stores. Amber Fuller intentionally hurt my dog during a routine vaccine appointment.

Unfortunately at this point it is escalating to a complaint with the vet licensing board. But all Petco will do is put a note in your file if you choose to use Vetco again. I personally would never do so when a routine vaccine appointment with Amber Fuller went so wrong so quickly.

Their staff are perhaps overworked but Amber Fuller failed to follow the basic standards of care. She did not fully read the chart and had to be corrected several times on basic facts like the gender of the pet and the vaccine needed.

Staff at Vetco are poorly trained, overworked, and irresponsible at best. I wish I had just walked away instead of putting my dog through something so traumatic.
